Tom McClintock, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 5th district since 2009, recently highlighted local infrastructure and legislative efforts in a series of social media posts.
On August 27, McClintock wrote about the importance of the Tuolumne Utilities District, stating, “The Tuolumne Utilities District is integral to many of our communities, supplying critical resources to over 44,000 residents. It was great to get an up-close look at their process, the plans for their future state-of-the-art water treatment facility and strengthening their water”.
The following day, August 28, he commented on his meeting with local stakeholders at Pinecrest Lake: “Thoroughly enjoyed meeting with Pinecrest Lake stakeholders to talk about solutions to some of the issues regarding safety and enhancing the visitor experience. What a beautiful treasure we have here in the 5th Congressional District.”
On August 29, McClintock referenced his recent interview with KSEE/KGPE Fresno regarding wildfire legislation: “I interviewed with KSEE/KGPE Fresno about critical fire legislation to improve our responses to wildfires. I’m proud to lead commonsense legislation that protects our forests and the surrounding communities.”
