Farmer Gene’s ‘Making Spirits Bright’
Gene Harris’ second annual Christmas Tree fundraiser benefitting Marina Village Middle School will be held this Saturday, Dec. 5, at Farmer Gene’s Christmas tree lot located outside the Starbucks parking lot at 4364 Town Center Blvd. in El Dorado Hills.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. stop by for some hot chocolate and home-baked goods, mistletoe and Christmas decorations crafted by parents, teachers and students all available for purchase with proceeds helping to fund Marina Village’s six after-school enrichment programs.
Two 8-foot noble fir Christmas trees will be raffled off and a Charlie Brown Christmas trees will be on display courtesy of Farmer Gene.
Marina Village principal Levi Cambridge and Rescue Union School District Superintendent Cheryl Olson will stop by to join in on the festivities.
Farmer Gene’s Christmas Tree Lot features beautiful noble firs brought down from the Noble Mountain Tree Farm in Salem, Ore. This year contactless tree service is being offered; customers are able to call a number with their tree specifications and receive pictures of a tree chosen for them prior to having it delivered to their home.
