El Dorado County issued the following on Oct. 15
El Dorado County Senior Legal Services is hosting two free webinars in November 2020. The webinars will focus on common legal issues and questions currently facing older adult residents of El Dorado County. The webinars will be available for any interested member of the public, although senior residents are especially encouraged to participate. Pre-registration is not required.
"COVID-19 has brought many challenges and issues among our older adults," said Michelle Ward, an attorney of the El Dorado County Senior Legal Services program. "Our Senior Legal staff has received an overwhelming number of callers asking about legal questions, and about evictions and restraining orders in particular. To best serve the community and to help answer your questions, our Senior Legal Services staff will be presenting on these two topics during our upcoming webinars."
The webinars will be available online via Zoom meeting or via telephone call in. A question and answer session will be included at the end of each webinar.
