On Saturday, March 8, former Ponderosa High School standout Brynn Escobar’s current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls.

The game took place at CMU Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Cowgirls this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 11 a.m. at CMU Softball Field against New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls.
