On Friday, Feb. 28, former Ponderosa High School standout Chase Mueller’s current college team, the Abilene Christian Wildcats, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Texas Longhorns.

The game took place at Red & Charline McCombs Field. This was their first matchup against the Longhorns this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 11 a.m. at Red & Charline McCombs Field against New Mexico State Aggies.
