On Sunday, March 23, former Ponderosa High School standout Brynn Escobar’s current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, won 9-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UCCS Mountain Lions.
The game took place at Mountain Lion Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.
The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 12 p.m. at CMU Softball Field against CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves.
