On Friday, Feb. 21, former Oak Ridge High School standout Tino Bethancourt’s current college team, the San Diego State Aztecs, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Utah Utes.
The game took place at Tony Gwynn Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Utes this season.
The Aztecs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. at Tony Gwynn Stadium against UC Santa Barbara Gauchos.
