On Friday, Feb. 14, former Oak Ridge High School standout Jessica Szelenyi’s current college team, the Sacramento State Hornets, won 4-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Western Illinois Leathernecks.

The game took place at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Leathernecks this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. at Shea Stadium against UC Davis Aggies.
