On Sunday, March 30, former Oak Ridge High School standout Jake Fields’ current college team, the Long Beach State Beach, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos.

The game took place at Bohl Diamond at Blair Field. This was their third matchup against the Gauchos this season.

The Beach’s next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 6:35 p.m. at Les Murakami Stadium against Hawaii Rainbow Warriors.
