On Friday, May 2, former Ponderosa High School standout Brynn Escobar’s current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, won 7-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UCCS Mountain Lions.
The game took place at All Star Park. This was their fifth matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.
The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at 11 a.m. at All Star Park against Colorado Christian Cougars.
