On Friday, Feb. 21, former Oak Ridge High School standout Jake Fields’ current college team, the Long Beach State Beach, won 10-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the California Baptist Lancers.

The game took place at Tony Gwynn Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Lancers this season.

The Beach’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. at Triton Ballpark against Pepperdine Waves.
