On Thursday, May 8, former Ponderosa High School standout Brynn Escobar’s current collegiate team the Colorado Mesa Mavericks lost 2-3 against the Angelo State Rams in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Schaeffer Park at 5 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Angelo State Rams in the tournament.

The Colorado Mesa Mavericks’ next game will take place on Friday, May 9 at 2:30 p.m. at Schaeffer Park.
