On Sunday, March 16, former Ponderosa High School standout Brynn Escobar’s current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, won 13-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Adams State Grizzlies.

The game took place at ASU Softball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Grizzlies this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 12 p.m. at Mountain Lion Field against UCCS Mountain Lions.
