On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Ponderosa High School standout Brynn Escobar’s current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, lost 6-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Angelo State Rams.

The game took place at Scrap Yard Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Rams this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 1:30 p.m. at Scrap Yard Sports Complex against UT Tyler Patriots.
