On Saturday, April 26, former Ponderosa High School standout Brynn Escobar’s current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, won 12-8 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets.

The game took place at Yellow Jacket Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Yellow Jackets this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, May 1 at 11 a.m. at All Star Park against Metro State Roadrunners.
